Andrea Klein, PMHNP-BC (she/her)
PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER
Andrea is a compassionate psychiatric provider dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, collaborative, and patient-centered mental health care across the lifespan. With a background in both psychiatric and medical nursing, Andrea brings a holistic perspective to treatment, emphasizing therapeutic rapport, education, and individualized care plans.
Andrea completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and has completed clinical rotations in outpatient psychiatry and inpatient behavioral health settings, including work with geriatric populations, acute stabilization, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations. Her experience spans both adult and pediatric mental health care in collaborative outpatient environments.
Prior to specializing in psychiatry, Andrea spent over a decade as a registered nurse in medical, surgical, renal, and behavioral health settings throughout Colorado. Her extensive nursing background has strengthened her ability to support patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs while fostering dignity, safety, and long-term wellness.

OWNER, MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Jane is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who approaches care with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based expertise. Originally from Ukraine, she earned her BSN from Western Governors University, her MSN from Maryville University, and her PMHNP certificate and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Herzing University.
Jane provides comprehensive, individualized care across primary care, mental health, and addiction services, incorporating somatic therapy, EMDR, DBT, ketamine therapy, and other innovative treatments to meet each patient where they are. She blends clinical precision with empathy, prioritizing patient safety, education, and empowerment, so every person feels heard, supported, and guided through their health journey.
Outside the clinic, Jane enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, practicing yoga, listening to music, and exploring philosophy.

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER
Lindsay is a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who brings compassion, clinical expertise, and a deeply patient-centered approach to care. With a diverse nursing background spanning surgical ICU, outpatient infusion services, private duty nursing, and pre-op/PACU care, Lindsay has developed a strong foundation in supporting patients through both complex medical and mental health challenges. Her experience across multiple healthcare settings allows her to provide thoughtful, well-rounded care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
She has completed extensive psychiatric clinical training in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing medication management and psychotherapy services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey, and she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth can happen without judgment.
She is committed to helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns with empathy, respect, and evidence-based treatment.
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending quality time with her family and making the most of life’s everyday moments together.

Michael Mehl, BSN, RN, FNP Candidate (he/him)
OWNER, DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS
Michael is a U.S. Air Force veteran and former Air Force medic with a wide-ranging background in emergency care, chronic disease management, internal medicine, endocrinology, infusion services, spinal cord injuries, and as a charge nurse. He has also worked as a BLS instructor, directed the Soldier Readiness Center injection unit at Fort Carson, and collaborated with the CDC on public health initiatives. He earned his nursing degrees from Pueblo Community College and Western Governors University, his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Excelsior College, and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University of Saint Louis, with an expected graduation in 2027.
As an owner and the Director of Clinical Operations at Around the Block Health Care, Michael blends clinical expertise, operational leadership, and a patient-first approach, ensuring every person who comes through the clinic feels safe, supported, and heard.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games, and going to live shows.

Sarah Pace, MSN, RN, PMHNP Candidate (she/her)

Sarah, lovingly referred to as “Minnesota”,is an experienced nurse educator and behavioral health professional with a strong background in clinical education, inpatient psychiatry, and multidisciplinary patient care. Passionate about fostering supportive and collaborative healthcare environments, Sarah is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through education, advocacy, and evidence-based practice.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Education from Walden University and has extensive experience supporting both clinical staff development and direct patient care across hospital and behavioral health settings. Her work has included serving as a Facility Based Educator and Regional Student Placement Coordinator within CommonSpirit Health, where she has led orientation programs, competency validation, professional development seminars, and clinical placement coordination across multiple hospitals. She will finish her MSN - PMHNP in Fall 2026.
In addition to her education leadership roles, Sarah has hands-on experience in inpatient psychiatric care, gastrointestinal specialty nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and post-operative patient care. During her time as a psychiatric charge nurse, she collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients experiencing acute mental health and substance use concerns while helping implement unit protocols and staff education initiatives.

Utana Bia, LCSW (she/her)
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Utana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist who works with individuals across a wide range of ages and life experiences. She has a rich professional background in medical social work, adult protection, and child protection, where she supported people navigating trauma, abuse, developmental challenges, and complex mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD.
Utana practices from a strengths-based, collaborative lens, helping clients feel supported as they work toward meaningful change. She incorporates Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into her work and is currently beginning EMDR training, with plans to pursue Internal Family Systems (IFS) to deepen her trauma-informed, integrative approach to care. Her work is grounded in respect, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing.
Utana enjoys exploring new cultures and experiences, reading and photography, hiking, discovering new foods, and spending time with her children.

Waleska Houlditch, LPCC (she/her)
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR CANDIDATE
Waleska is an LPCC candidate and counselor in training, and will gain licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in August 2026. She is deeply committed to offering hope to individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and she strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences with care and intention.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020 and went on to earn her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, graduating in July 2024.
Her clinical experience includes counseling roles in community mental health and family-centered settings, as well as prior work in targeted case management and bilingual advocacy for survivors of domestic violence. She draws from a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, CPT, person-centered, Gestalt, mindfulness-based, emotionally focused, and solution-focused therapies, and is currently training in EMDR through EMDR of the Rockies to further support trauma-informed healing.

Andrea brings over 15 years of experience in the medical field with a strong foundation in psychiatric care, addiction services, and crisis response. She has supported patients across a variety of settings as a Medical Assistant and intake specialist, always leading with compassion, attentiveness, and a deep understanding of mental health care.
Over the past year and a half, Andrea has expanded her focus into health and wellness, aligning with a whole-person approach to healing. As a certified phlebotomist and IV technician, she combines clinical skill with a calm, supportive presence, helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their treatment journey.
Originally born and raised in California, Andrea took a leap of faith in moving to Colorado for a fresh start and new opportunities. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her children, who are proudly serving in the military across the country.

Kylie Heinrich, CNA (she/her)

Kylie has experience working in pediatric medical settings, inpatient behavioral health, and acute psychiatric care.
She has experience caring for both children and adults across a variety of medical and behavioral health environments. During her time at Children's Hospital Colorado, she supported hospitalized patients by monitoring vital signs, assisting with treatment plans, and providing direct patient care for individuals with both medical and psychological needs. She also worked closely with children and adolescents receiving treatment for eating disorders, helping support structured meal plans and therapeutic care goals.
She previously worked as a Mental Health Technician in an inpatient behavioral health setting, where she assisted patients requiring acute psychiatric, restorative, and detox services. Her experience includes patient safety monitoring, group support, de-escalation techniques, hygiene assistance, and helping foster a safe and supportive treatment environment.
She is currently pursuing studies in social work at Pikes Peak State College and is committed to continuing her growth within the mental health and healthcare field.

Regan Wright, CPT, CCMA (she/her)
CLINICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Reganis a compassionate and patient-focused medical assistant with experience supporting women’s health, laboratory services, behavioral health populations, and aesthetic medicine.
She has clinical experience in OB/GYN care, hormone replacement therapy, weight management services, laboratory collection, and patient education. She has assisted with a wide range of procedures and services including injections, venipuncture, pelvic floor treatments, hormone pellet therapy, and aesthetic services. She also supported patients receiving weight-loss treatments and provided education regarding medications and procedures.
Prior to her work in women’s health, Regan gained extensive laboratory and specimen collection experience working with healthcare teams across Colorado, including facilities supporting individuals with substance use concerns. Her background includes leadership responsibilities, staff support, specimen processing, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality and compassionate care.
Regan earned her Clinical Medical Assistant certification through Bryan University and is certified in phlebotomy.

Regina Dunnock, CNA, CCMA (she/her)
CLINICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Regina is our Clinical Services Manager at Around the Block Health Care. With hands-on experience in hospice care and skilled nursing facilities, she has a strong foundation in patient-centered care and a genuine passion for supporting people through every step of their treatment.
She has been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2022 and earned her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification in November 2025. Regina played a key role in helping launch our intramuscular ketamine program and continues to expand her skill set in our lab and primary care services. She is highly skilled in administering injections and is preparing to become certified in phlebotomy as our services continue to grow.
Regina also leads onboarding and training for new clinical support specialists, helping ensure that every patient experience is safe and thoughtful. She’s someone both patients and teammates rely on for steady support and excellent care.
Outside of work, Regina loves traveling internationally and spending quality time with her family.

Aubrie Plautz, BSW Candidate (she/her)
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS
Aubrie is in charge of the behind the scenes magic at Around The Block Health Care. Her goal is to build a new type of clinic that feels welcoming, accessible, and rooted in compassion for both patients and staff.
She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Work at Grand Canyon University and was accepted into Widener University’s dual Advanced Standing MSW & MEd in Human Sexuality program, which she will begin in Summer 2027. Aubrie is also a student with Sexual Health Alliance, working toward certification as a Sex Coach & Consultant, with plans to become an AASECT-certified sex therapist. Her professional interests include shame-informed care, compulsive and problematic sexual concerns, and working with individuals who have committed sexual offenses.
She has held leadership roles with NAMI Southeast Colorado and is an active member of NASW and AASECT.
Aubrie grew up in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and still misses Café Yumm and the WOW Hall. She enjoys pretending to be a ghost with her daughter, collecting books she fully intends to read someday, and watching silent films.

August Gonzales, BA (he/him)
ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
August is our Administrative Specialist and has had a strong interest in psychology since grade 8, a passion that carried through to earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. He enjoys supporting both patients and the care team while gaining hands-on experience in the field. He hopes to return to school in the future to pursue a master’s degree in either forensic psychology or neuropsychology.
He played upright bass for eight years before transitioning to electric bass and has been an artist for as long as he can remember. His creativity extends into his love of Dungeons & Dragons, where he enjoys creating characters and developing detailed worlds and backstories, an interest influenced by a lifelong love of video games and anime. Late autumn and winter are his favorite seasons, and he enjoys hiking mountain trails with his headphones in, often listening to instrumental or classical music. His favorite music genres include metal, punk and hard rock, alternative, indie, and some hip-hop and rap.
He has been married to his husband for 11 years; they share a leopard gecko and two dogs. He cares deeply for his family and animals and knows he can always count on them to bring comfort, joy, and a smile to his face.

Jamie Rivera is an Administrative Specialist at Around the Block Health Care responsible for chart creation, client communications, and orderly office operations. He's also the first face many will see and has the compassion and people skills to make the transition into treatment a quick and welcoming experience.
He graduated from Western Colorado University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English. His goal is to author accessible and affordable self-help literature that teaches the healing power of foundational mindfulness and therapeutic practices. In pursuit of this goal, he works to gain professional experience in administrative psychology and medical work. His academic excellence earned him membership in Psi Chi (the International Honor Society in Psychology) and Sigma Tau Delta (the International English Honor Society), and he intends to pursue a master’s degree to deepen his expertise in the field.
In his own time, Jamie is a man of cars, tea, technology, adventure, amateur geology and collecting. He can often be found sharing in his interests with their partner, friends, or family.

Shealynn McCoy (she/her)

Shealynn likes to say she didn’t choose healthcare, healthcare chose her. And with 10+ years as a pharmacy technician, experience as a respite provider for children with autism and developmental disabilities, and a background in elderly companionship, she has made it her life’s work to show up for people at literally every stage of life.
With a laugh that can be heard from space, her personality is as big as Texas, and her passion for life is contagious. She is a proud queer woman who is a passionate advocate for both mental health and the LGBTQIA+ community. Without having to ask brings her full, unapologetic self into every room she enters. She believes meeting people where they are at and that inclusive, compassionate care isn’t a bonus, it’s the baseline.

Tiffany Bartles brings dedication, attention to detail, and compassion to her role as our Insurance Team Coordinator.
Tiffany earned her AHIMA-approved undergraduate certification in medical billing and coding in 2020 with a 4.0 GPA. With a passion for supporting patients through complex insurance systems, she ensures that every individual receives the care and clarity they deserve. A proud Colorado Springs resident since 1992, Tiffany combines professionalism with warmth, helping clients feel confident and informed as they navigate their healthcare coverage.
Tiffany’s long-term goal is to expand her knowledge in healthcare administration and evolve her role in patient support services. She is committed to improving patient access and transparency in the billing process, one conversation at a time.She is a lifelong music lover who has attended over 150 live concerts! Her first show was in 1995 when she was just 12 years old, and she’s been hooked ever since.

Tyra is our Referral Services Specialist and passionate about helping people and making care easier to access! Her path into healthcare was shaped by personal experiences with addiction and mental health, both within their family and through their own journey, which helped build the empathy and compassion she brings to her work every day.
She started her career as a Medical Assistant after earning her Medical Assistant registration through PIMA Medical Institute and spent a few years working in urology, orthopedics, and chronic care. Over time, she realized she could make the biggest impact behind the scenes, which led her to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Health Care Administration and move into referral and care coordination work.
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Tyra grew up traveling around the U.S., with Monterey Bay, California holding a special place in her heart. Outside of work, she loves creating art, reading, and learning about paleontology…especially dinosaurs. She’s always been an animal lover and now has three fluffy Husky/Bernese mixes. When she’s winding down, you’ll usually find her watching anime or YouTube, with Demon Slayer at the top of her favorites and One Piece close behind.

Victoria is our Administrative Team Coordinator, in charge of the day-to-day management of our admin team and scheduling process.
She holds a nursing degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and has a deep passion for the medical field, with a strong emphasis on mental health and whole-person care. Her background allows her to approach administrative work with a clinical support perspective.
A Colorado native and U.S. Army Veteran, she is known for her strong sense of dedication and service. She genuinely cares about people, and that commitment shows in the way she supports her colleagues and helps create a collaborative, supportive workplace. Her leadership style is grounded in empathy, reliability, and a belief that well-supported teams provide the best care.
Outside of her administrative and clinical interests, Victoria is also a published artist. Fueled by coffee and a strong sense of purpose, she is deeply committed to supporting our team and fostering an environment where both patients and staff feel valued and empowered to thrive.
